About Me
I began as a novice, point and shoot, photographer with a small Fuji and a great family who would humor me with my constant "flashing" of the camera. I have developed a love of it and ultimately would love to develop my business into a full-time career.
I love taking photographs outside, where the natural light can highlight the beauty of the subjects. It is also where children love to play and I can capture their true personalities. Jacksonville has so many beautiful settings and so the possibilities are endless. I do have a mobile indoor studio for newborns where I can bring the 'studio' to you.
Session Pricing
Portrait sessions last for an hour and a half and start at $50. Each additional half hour adds $15. I will travel nearly anywhere within Duval County or North Orange Park (Argyle, Oakleaf) for the session. Additional areas can be arranged. Newborn and other indoor sessions start at $65 and include a $10 credit toward prints ordered from my website.
Photos will be posted on the website and you can choose to have your gallery password protected if desired. Prints and numerous other products may be purchased here on the website and will be sent directly to you. Digital images are generally not offered for sale. Standard print prices are currently as follows:
4 x 6 $ 3.00
5 x 7 $ 5.00
8 x 10 $ 9.00
9 x 12 $16.00
11 x 14 $20.00
There are additional print sizes available as well as varous mounting options. There are also many great items available from my photo partners, such as canvas wraps, stamps, sports trading cards and more! (The "amy dean photography" watermark is removed from all images when ordered).
I am now also partnering with tinyprints.com to offer a better selection of photo cards. ($10 credit from indoor sessions do not apply for tinyprints orders).
I have put together some packages that mix a variety of sizes with a savings over purchasing them individually. Let me know if you need help locating that while shopping for prints.
Clothing
Many people ask what they should wear. For children, aim for something that adds additional interest in the photos such as funky hats, bright colors, layered shirts, rain boots, etc. For family groups, try to stay away from white shirts and khaki pants. Coordinating colors is great, but COLOR is the key! If you can't decide let me try to help you!
